Why can't I submit a ticket without having to fill in the SPAM prevention?

There are WAY too many SPAM bots on the internet. I had to shut off registration for my blog after thousands joined in just a few months.  I don't want my inbox inundated with junk tickets, so those 2 SPAM prevention methods are in place to cut down on how much junk mail I'll get.  They are pretty easy to fill in though so shouldn't give anyone too much trouble.
