Is magic overpowered? - MisterBobbyPin - 04-12-2023 I seem to have a problem with magic. It just always seems situational to me and authors always seem to use it lazily. Does anyone else have this problem? RE: Is magic overpowered? - Judel - 04-12-2023 Can you give some examples of what you mean? I don't tend to read books with magic, and none of my characters have dealt with it. RE: Is magic overpowered? - Bloom - 04-18-2023 How do writers use magic lazily? Do you mean they use it as a catch all solution to any problem the main character needs a solution for? RE: Is magic overpowered? - Shortie - 04-23-2023 The only books I would have ever read that contained magic were the Harry Potter books and I do not feel that the magic in those was used lazily but that it was used and written quite well for the story. |
