One Hundred Years of Solitude
If you are a fan of magical realism, I think One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the best books in this genre. It was written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and published in 1967. Marquez received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982. The novel explores a story of 7 generations that is spread over a period of 100 years. This is not only the best novel by the author but also one of the best books in world literature.
